We contribute to human rights generally and specifically to Deaf people’s rights. Deaf people’s rights are grossly abused, and therefore suffer marginalization and discrimination, hence benefit
less from development programmes. We advocate and lobby for the human rights of Deaf persons through capacity building of Deaf persons and their families to demand for their rights and hold
government accountable for its actions. In addition, we promote the capacity of stakeholders such as the JLOS, Local Government/ National Government, Disabled People Organizations in sign language and to network and positively respond to issues of Deaf people.
